Friday Night Adventure with my Libby...  
Picture explanations: 1. Libby and the NOT-SO-HOTT golden ladybug necklace. For some reason, LADYBUGS and the color YELLOW set the tone for the night. Our eyes are still trying to recover from the blinding sunshine BUG that threw us into shock mode by the brightness of it's beaming sunshine yellow paint job. Once we shielded our faces with our sunglasses, we peered into the windows only to find something worse than the paint job: a plethera of LADYBUG accessories and a hand-knit crochet pillow perfectly smashed up against the rear window enscribed: bug off. We were only wishing they'd take their OWN advice and make like a ladybug and bug off. 2. And then there's ME and the "YOU'RE DEFINITELY A TOURIST TO ORANGE COUNTY if you EVER wear this necklace. One word: WRONG. Ditch the bright pink diamond studded necklaces, no matter what. Only Akon can wear the ghetto bling and it be half-way ok, but the last time I checked, there was only ONE akon, so don't do it!
SOME VERY IMPORTANT LESSONS LEARNED after our lovely little evening: 1. Olive Garden for dinner: No point. Great salad, but that's about it. Better option: free ice cream @ BJ's. Thanks K. 2. Gypsy Den has the loveliest atmosphere ever, so take your best friend, order a vanilla latte, and snatch up the sofa seats and you WONT be disappointed. Oh, and get ready to listen to The Postal Service! They love playing that cd! 3. *Glitter is NEVER in. EVER. It only belongs on house boats, with platform white flip flops! ***Most important lesson I will remember for a life time. Enough said. Libby, I love you girl!!! |
